The yards have to be built with cattle yard panels as these are much higher and stronger than standard portable panels for horse yards. The average cost of a single cattleyard panel is $400 A set of 13 panels plus 2 gates can be purchased for $2400. ![]() ![]() Portable Loading Ramp When the Brumbies are removed from the State Parks and brought to us, they are transported on cattle trucks. It is therefore necessary for us to have a loading ramp so that we can safely unload the Brumbies. A portable loading ramp is expensive, any contribution will be held until sufficient funds are avilable for us to make the purchase. ![]() ![]() Portable Crush For safety reasons when haltering, worming, vaccinating and microchipping the newly caught Brumbies a portable crush is invaluable. When the Brumbies are sent to their foster homes or their new adopted homes they are sent wearing a rope halter. We therefore regularly need new rope halters. A rope halter can be purchased for about $15 ![]() ![]() Lead Ropes As we will be working with a large number of Brumbies (our first intake was 16), an ample supply of good lead ropes is essential.
