VBA Alamo is a two year old, almost black, liver chestnut two year old gelding who was caught (run) as a weanling foal from the Alpine National Park in Victoria.

Alamo is a lighter framed, really pretty, elegant type who we expect to mature around 14hh.

Alamos colour is really amazing and very hard to describe, but he is sure to turn heads wherever he goes!

Alamo has been out in his own domestic home for nearly two years, but came back to us after his owners circumstances changed unexpectedly.

He has been a loved family member, living next door to his families home and wearing his winter rug, which will come with him to his new home.

Quiet, loving, all the ‘hard work’ has been done for you – possibly suit someone who has never had a youngster before? $700

VBA Cheeky Devil is a six year old jet black gelding who was caught (passively trapped) from the Bogong High Plains region of the Alpine National Park in Victoria.

Devil is a really solid boy of around 13.3hh, with some feathering and the typical long mane and tail of the Brumbies from this region.

Devil is totally mis-named as he is the sweetest little gelding you could wish for. Dev just loves attention, he is peaceful in the paddock and has accepted everything about domestic life (particularly the food) super well.

Dev would make a fabulous general purpose riding horse or every kids dream Pony Clubber with the right training.

VBA Dash is a three year old liver chestnut filly who was caught from the Alpine National Park in Victoria nearly two years ago.

Dash had her right eye injured when she was caught and as a result is blind in that eye. Dash is very high functioning and copes brilliantly in both a herd environment at our sanctuary as well as individually when we are working with her.

The smallest Brumby we have ever had at only around 12hh, Dash is very solid and has a little feathering. She looks like the old style pit pony!

Dash is a really adorable girl who just loves to blow kisses in your face. We would love to see Dash go to her very own home where she would thrive as a companion or riding horse with the right family. $450.

VBA Holly is a four year old brown mare who was caught (passively trapped) from the Bogong High Plains region of the Alpine National Park in Victoria.

Holly was running with the stunning Brumby stallion, VBA Mighty Mouse when she was caught from the wild, so we would tend to assume she is pregnant.

Holly had her ear injured in a fight between two stallions after she was caught. It is a cosmetic injury only to an otherwise really beautiful mare.

Holly is a really solid mare of around 14hh, with some feathering and the typical long mane and tail of the Brumbies from this region.

She is quiet and sweet and would thrive in her own home.

Holly is looking for a homewith Mighty Mouse (below). $1250 with Mighty Mouse

VBA Mighty Mouse is a six year old bay gelding who was caught (passively trapped) from the Bogong High Plains region of the Alpine National Park in Victoria.

Mouse is a really solid boy of around 14hh, with some feathering and the typical long mane and tail of the Brumbies from this region.

Mouse is asuper calm fellow who just loves his family. Although he can be separated for handling and training, we will only rehome Mouse with VBA Holly as he needs his family with him after a fairly traumatic capture.

With Hollys foal on the way, this is a chance to buy your very own ‘Brumby mob’! Mouse will be a fabulous riding horse – he is surefooted and takes everything in his stride.

VBA Picasso is a brown yearling gelding who was caught (passively trapped) from the Bogong High Plains region of the Alpine National Park in Victoria.

Picasso is a really solid fellow who we expect to mature 14.3hh plus.

He has some feathering. Picasso has really unusual facial markings and with his solid frame and quirky markings is sure to stand out in a crowd!

Picasso has had some basic training which he responded really well to. He is interested in the training and us and really likes to spend time with people. $750

All Brumbies sold by the VBA are eligible for registration with the Australian Brumby Horse Register.

All Brumbies sold by the Victorian Brumby Association are eligible for registration with the Australian Brumby Horse Register. The ABHR is dedicated to furthering the interests of Brumbies in Australia by promoting them as fabulous and useful horses who are an integral part of our heritage. Your Brumby will come with their own Certificate of Authenticity, which enables you to register them with the ABHR.

Brumbies registered with the ABHR are eligible to compete in Brumby classes at various Agricultural and Royal show as well as some All breeds shows. The more that you as Brumby owners support these classes by entering them, the more classes we will be able to have at these shows and shows like them. In addition to this, the Victorian Brumby Association is currently developing high point type awards for Brumbies competing in Adult Riding Club and Pony Club and in various other discuplines which will be chosen to demonstrate the true versatility of the Brumby.
