Help Save Victoria's Brumbies

Thought about Sponsoring a Brumby?
From time to time, we have Brumbies arrive who are not suitable for rehoming. They may be orphans, have suffered injuries or simply be too stressed to rehome in the short term.

These Brumbies go into our Sponsorship program. They will stay at our property in Beaufort for the period of their Sponsorship (generally 12 months). Here, they receive the one on one care and attention that they need to be able to thrive and build the foundations to enable them to lead happy, healthy lives.

Of course, it costs money to care for any horse. Orphan foals can go through up to $400 of formula each month and injured horses may require veterinary attention. Even if they require none of this, sponsored horses are fed, wormed, vaccinated and cared for on a daily basis.

Sponsorship starts at $100 per year. Sponsors can choose which Brumby they would like to sponsor and will then receive a Sponsorship certificate, photos of 'their' sponsored horse as well as a quarterly update with more photos. Sponsors can also visit and handle their sponsored horse under supervision of the VBA.
